Coyote would love to take you on a journey through the songs and life of the legendary Joni Mitchell!
Enjoy such gems as Woodstock. A Case Of You, Both Sides Now and many more well-known and lesser-known treasures from Mitchell's oeuvre.
To be booked as a theater show and/or (living room) concert for listening audiences.
Singer Marije van der Nat began to study Joni's work after several people told her after performances that she resembled the young Joni Mitchell. She started listening, the songs got under her skin and now she performs them with great passion and a flawless voice. She gently touches your heart with Mitchell's musical poetry, and in between songs also likes to tell you about the eventful life of the singer/artist/joy of life that Joni was and is.
Guitarist Jan de Wit met Marije in an occasional band for which they played a Dolly Parton tribute. He has been a big Joni fan for years and asked Marije if she wouldn't like to dive into that repertoire with him. Jan made
the many extraordinary tunings and original compositions his own. With an impressive arsenal of guitars on stage, he provides the perfect musical bed for that true Joni sound.
Since 2018, under the name Coyote, they have enjoyed playing Joni Mitchell's oeuvre as well as their own work. People are invariably moved and impressed after a Coyote performance.
"I felt stillness in my heart...Touched so and that's a compliment!"
"Beautiful delivery, #perfection!"
"You live the song when you sing, tears and goosebumps!"
