John performs with a vintage Shure Super 55 classic vocal microphone with JBL sound speakers. These provide the warm deep baritone sound of many crooners of yesteryear.
He has actually been singing all his life, but after age 50 his passion as a solo singer began.
By attending singing workshops with none other than Linda Wagenmakers, he further developed his baritone voice as a true crooner. Jazz is his genre but he doesn't turn his hand to Rock & Roll either. Rhythm and Blues, and Disco songs by Barry White, among others.
Nat King Cole, Michael Bubble, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, but also Chris Rea, Joe Cocker, Christoffer Cross, Lee Towers, Simply Red, CCR and the Bellamy Brothers are part of his singing act at Showbird and provide a cozy atmosphere at any corporate party, opening, dinner, opening or event etc.

This act takes about 2 hours , which can be 3x half hours with some breaks, but this is of course negotiable to the wishes of the customer.

On request, the sound system can be scaled up with PA amplification for large spaces or outdoor events,
