Anything goes... as long as it's tasty & groovy! Atanga Tree is an adventurous gang of musicians open to music from all over the world.

Atanga Boom has previously performed at Jazz in Duketown, North Sea Round Town, BIRD, De Ceuvel and the ZomerJazzFietsTour, among other venues, and has thus quietly built up a wide fan base. In 2015, Atanga Boom presented its debut album in Paradiso, featuring 12 tracks by Atanga Boom. Platomania gave the album 4 stars and Heaven noted "Sharply played afrofunk that can easily compete with everything that comes from abroad".

The given price is for a performance of 30 minutes, longer performance is possible. We assume that a sound system (PA) with technician will be available at the playground. Only if it concerns a small (semi-)acoustic performance, a PA is not necessary. Keep in mind extra costs if you need to book a technician, prices depend on the situation

The band was founded in 2012 and immediately caused a furore during the Felabration festival in Amsterdam. With the tuba and the baritone sax in the foreground Atanga Boom is a striking appearance and their dynamic mix of worldgrooves, funk and jazz has garnered a lot of success on Dutch stages in recent years.
