BLEND stands for easy listening, romantic, an acoustic sound and fine harmonies.
We are Michaël & Lisanne and together we form BLEND MUSIC with our voices and a guitar. Already 14 years ago, during our studies at the Conservatory, we met each other and since then we haven't stopped making music together. And to answer the question: "Are you a set?", yes we are for 14 years! We find it very special to share our love for music together.
With great pleasure we provide custom-made live music on all kinds of occasions at home and abroad. We have built a wide repertoire with a nice mix of songs from the 60's to the present, each performed in a nice BLEND jacket.
Under the name "Scott & Young" we also write our own music
(a.o. listen to it on Spotify).
For each performance we make a custom offer depending on the wishes and the playing time.
Are you getting married?
To us, a wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful things you can do as a musician. Being part of such a special intimate moment is magical every time. To make a ceremony as personal as possible, we lovingly study those songs that have an extra special meaning for you!
We will have extensive contact in advance and will gladly think along with you about the musical interpretation. Through our experience we know what works and what doesn't, and what is possible. And a lot is possible!
The price for a customized ceremony (including preparation, extensive introduction and coordination, request numbers, technical equipment, sound check and coordination with the ceremony speaker) is €875. Would you like fine background music after the ceremony during drinks or/and dinner? For this the extra charge is €250,- per hour.

Thanks to BLEND, everything came together at our wedding. They already started playing at the reception of the guests, which was a nice transition to the ceremony. We had very pleasant contact with Michael and Lisanne several times beforehand and really felt that our preferences were listened to. We were also able to spar on how it all had to come together during the ceremony, which was thought along with us in a creative way. We had chosen songs that were not yet in their repertoire, but could send some versions and discuss them again by phone. The final versions were really beautiful. With two great voices, and beautiful guitar playing, it felt like a warm whole and the music spoke exactly to the emotions we had hoped for beforehand. Having a ceremony supported by a musical duo may feel like an extra beforehand, but we definitely wouldn't have wanted it without them. Last minute we decided we wanted live music during the ceremony at our wedding and ended up at Blend. We didn't regret that! We had submitted four request songs that were very different in style and genre. Blend rehearsed these request songs in two weeks and gave them their own twist. The unanimous verdict of those present is that Blend performed the request numbers beautifully and lifted the atmosphere of the ceremony to a higher level. We are also very pleased with the communication; Blend responded quickly, clearly and very enthusiastic! We understand that they even did some background research on one of the request numbers. TL;DR - we highly recommend Blend.
