This eight-piece band plays traditional gypsy music with crazy Balkan beats. The band interweaves traditional Balkan folk music with modern pop and rock songs.
The repertoire includes songs by a.o. Goran Bregovic and Fanfare Ciocårlia. In addition, existing songs are 'verbalized' by the band. One moment they throw for example Nirvana on the grill and then pour a spicy balkan sauce over it, the next moment you'll find a balkan version of Katy Perry's greatest hits on your plate.
The other ingredients are fun, energy, and dance. A tried and tested recipe, because Balkanari manages to let the audience loose.

Balkanari of Balkanova orchestra played at our wedding. Fine communication beforehand, clear, open and thoughtful. Our requests were listened to, thought about and checked. Super nice! At the wedding it was one big party! Non-stop dancing and swinging Balkan songs. Super fun! Would definitely recommend if you want a vibrant and high energy party! Thank you guys so much!
