Fancy a virtuoso musical feast? With an energetic band that transforms a space with people into a hossing mass in a short time?
This eight-piece band plays traditional gypsy music with crazy Balkan beats. The band interweaves traditional Balkan folk music with modern pop and rock songs.
The repertoire includes songs by a.o. Goran Bregovic and Fanfare Ciocårlia. In addition, existing songs are 'verbalized' by the band. One moment they throw for example Nirvana on the grill and then pour a spicy balkan sauce over it, the next moment you'll find a balkan version of Katy Perry's greatest hits on your plate.
The other ingredients are fun, energy, and dance. A tried and tested recipe, because Balkanari manages to let the audience loose.

Heeyaa is particularly pleasant to work with. In more ways than one, I mean that. The music and interaction during their live performance struck a chord on multiple levels. Whether you were introverted or extroverted, you saw everyone enjoying themselves. Dancing, reacting to and interacting with Heeyaa during their performance. Fun!!! Action and fun!
