How did he get in touch with salsa?
"I remember my first experience with salsa. It was in the mid-'90s and I was in Venezuela. I took an overcrowded van from Maiquetía to Caracas. Outside it was 30 degrees Celsius and in the van music was playing from the speakers. Later I learned that the music was "salsa". I don't remember what song it sounded from the speakers, but I remember the feeling it gave me. That's the same feeling I try to convey when I'm spinning my sets."
