Bel AMI is a feminine a cappella trio with a powerful appearance and impressive harmony. A mix of vocals, entertainment and a charm all of its own makes Bel AMI an exceptional appearance:

Anita van Soest, Miranda Soest and Ilse Doorenspleet - call AMI - share a love of singing and are very inspired by the harmony of three-part a cappella repertoire. They sing repertoire from all corners of the globe, with a swinging arrangement of pop classics, musicals and - or Christmas - repertoire Bel AMI convinces through its powerful expression and beautiful harmony.

Anita van Soest (alto) is a musician (trumpeter) and theatre maker. In 1997 she founded Tamar music theatre. In the meantime she has made more than twenty productions, both musical theatre and musical docudrama's as well as family shows. She currently conducts the Lichtruimbigband and plays in trio Copper'n Creek. Anita is a versatile artist and always knows how to surprise her audience during a performance.

Miranda van Soest (soprano) studied singing with Caroline Stam and took masterclasses with Miranda van Kralingen, Axel Everaert and Charlotte Margiono. At the moment she has lessons with Brian Mesuda. Miranda worked for years with Ferrie Eiselin (piano) with whom she performed song recitals. Besides Bel AMI she has been singing with Marga Oostindie (alto) since 2016. From 2019 they will form a trio with pianist Roos Nitzsche (piano) to perform classical repertoire

Ilse Doorenspleet (soprano) studies singing with Caroline Stam. Ilse sings next to trio Bel AMI in Collegium Vocale Zaandam and plays in recorder ensemble Amarilli's Sunshine. She also conducts several choirs in Zaandam.
