Bloostoo is Sven van den Berg and Rob Roemers and brings a (semi)-acoustic mix of Blues classics, Old Time-Country, unpolished Sixties songs and outright Traditionals.

Sven van den Berg & Rob Roemers bring an acoustic mix of Blues classics, Old Time-Country, unpolished Sixties songs and straightforward Traditionals. Songs by Willy DeVille, Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson and Creedence Clearwater Revival

Sven sings like a madman, plays guitar and harmonica. For years he was the frontman of The Kingsnakes, one of Holland's most successful Bluesbands. After The Kingsnakes broke up, Sven decided to change tack
the acoustic. So back to basics

Rob turned out to be the right man to support him on vocals, guitar/dobro and a 'footstomp' for the rhythm. Rob is a virtuoso on almost every stringed instrument, he also plays and sings in the band of Flaco Jimenez, with Philip Kroonenberg and in rock'n'roll trio The Wieners.

Sven is now also active again in the rock band Bob Charles and the blues bands Jeremy and the Groovebreakers and El Camino, while Rob Roemers is working hard with The Parkin' Lot Pickers and of course The Wieners.
