Their music features primal Dutch lyrics about topics Gypsies love to sing about and frequently: love (and its often harrowing impossibility), booze, dancing and fire.
The band has been in existence since early 2016. It is a motley crew drawn from the circus, theater and just off the streets. They find each other in their love of celebration and melancholy.
SCHEEPSKAMEEL brings catchy, danceable music, with melancholy undertones and a wink.
With Gipsy, Balkan and Klezmer influences, Ship's Camel is ideal for festivals, concerts and parties.
