Arijan is founder and director of Wij zijn Kas, a rapidly growing youth aid organization in the Hart van Brabant region. Here he leads more than 50 care entrepreneurs, who work daily with children, youth and families. He knows how to convey his vision of small scale, autonomy and ownership within the care sector with conviction and humor - without losing sight of the social importance.
He also ran his
own family amusement park for years: De Waarbeek in Hengelo, a nostalgic park that flourished again under his leadership. His experiences with entrepreneurship in recreation - from marketing to hospitality and from setbacks to perseverance - he shares openly and with the necessary self-mockery.
