Walther Pondman plays and sings alone or with one of his ensembles from (light) classical, pop, Rock @Roll to Opera for all your parties, weddings, birthdays, receptions and company parties

Walther Pondman was born on 9 June 1990, plays the saxophone, clarinet and is a tenor. In 2013 he obtained his bachelor clarinet at the conservatory of Zwolle. In his 3rd year he started with a minor Jazz and Pop and also a minor Saxophone.

He has been giving concerts with his regular ensembles since he was 15 years old. Think of Beethoven, Mozart, Tschaikovsky.

Walther sits in various Ensembles performing music from the relaxed and cheerful atmospheres of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra to the dark dramatic atmospheres of the world of opera by Puccini, Verdi, Bellini, Donizetti and others. He plays and sings as a regular saxophonist, clarinettist and singer in the "Acadia trio", "Camelia Quartett" and the "fiori e fratelli ensemble". In the latter ensemble the emphasis is also on the world of jazz with the clarinet. Think of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman or Louis Armstrong, the founders of the big band and later show corps in which Saxophone is so important.

In addition to these ensembles, Walther plays in orchestras, both professional and amateur.

Since 2012, walther has been teaching with great pleasure at a number of different music schools, including many projects with young children.
