Singer Maan is loved all over the Netherlands and that's not for nothing! With her beautiful voice she stole the hearts of the Dutch audience and is a sought-after artist at every event!

If one artist has grown tremendously in recent years, it's Moon. Only three years after winning The Voice of Holland, the singer has built a career brimming with golden and platinum successes. And although they are still searching for her own sound, she is getting better and better at it.

She just finished her third club tour. Unlike the first two, which were dominated by her English AM/PM EPs, Maan brought a different repertoire this time. "I have chosen, at least for the time being, to sing in Dutch", the singer explains. "I feel good about that, it's believable and I feel that Dutch music is almost more popular than ever anyway"

And that worked, it soon became clear: all songs were sung along loudly. And that was exactly Maan's intention; she even reads her success from how the audience reacts. "When everyone is singing along, cheering and jumping, I feel like I did a good job." With that success it's good anyway; four of the six halls were stiffly sold out, the rest as good as sold out.

The language wasn't the only change since her previous tours, Maan continues to build on the way of making music, together with her band. Where she used to go out with a keyboardplayer, bassplayer and drummer, a guitarist was added now. "The music is more organic, it really gives that band feeling. We can jam as long as we want. So bold!"
