The acts offered on ShowBird have been published on ShowBird by the artist himself (or his exclusive booking agent).

You can search for acts by using:
- The generic search field
- The structured navigation menu
Filter
You can make the search result more specific by filtering on:
- Date, Time and Location of your event
- A search term that appears in the act presentation
- The minimum and maximum price of the act
- The quality of the act (based on customer reviews and ShowBird wings)
- Act categories and subcategories
- Number of performing performers
- Composition of the performers
- Suitability for indoor/outdoor use
- Language in which artist can communicate
- Distance from event location
- Favorite tags
Sorting
The order in which acts are presented can be adjusted:
- On Relevance*
- By Price (low>high and high>low)
- By Rating (review score)
- By Popularity (number of requests)
*The default sorting is by Relevance. The order in which the acts are shown is the result of complex algorithms. The following aspects are taken into account:
- Act: Match with search terms used
- Act: completeness of the act presentation
- Act: review
- Act: popularity
- Act: distance to event location
- Artist: Speed of response
- Artist: experience on ShowBird
- Artist: availability
ShowBird has no mechanism that allows acts to rise in the search results through payment.
