How do I get my ShowBird customer to post a review?
We will send all customers an email after the performance asking them to write a review.
We will also call them to bring this to their attention again. Our experience shows that it can also be very helpful if you send a message to the customer yourself.
How do I get more reviews for my ShowBird act(s)?
- The more bookings, the greater the chance of reviews.
- We ask the customer to write a review of your performance, but sending a message yourself often helps too!
- You can send external reviews to ShowBird and we'll add them to your act. More about this on this page.
- You can also have all your external bookings run through ShowBird, so that these customers can also leave a review. More about this on this page.
How does the star score of my act(s) work on ShowBird?
These are verified customer ratings you get as an artist for previous performances. It is a way of classifying the acts into different classes. The classification goes from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 stars being the highest achievable. The more reviews, the better the image a customer gets of you as an artist.
How do the Wings that some artists have work?
In addition to the customer review (star rating), ShowBird also uses its own quality stamp: the 'wings'. This score is based on two factors:
- Quality of the act compared to other acts in the same category.
This is about the execution of the live performance. - Quality of the artist with regard to his performance on ShowBird. Think of the completeness of the act presentation, speed of reaction, clarity of proposals and good communication.
There are three wings that ShowBird assigns to artists: Gold, Silver & Bronze.
Can I add external reviews to my ShowBird act(s)?
Absolutely, the more reviews, the better. Have you received nice reviews from customers outside the platform? Check out our page about external reviews to find out how to add them to your act.
I do not want my reviews to be automatically shown for all my acts, what now?
