Jo became known in Belgium when he took part in "Belgium's Got Talent" with his trained chicken, 'Kip Curry'. This was followed by his own series at VTM KZOOM and guest appearances at Ketnet.
In the Netherlands Jo could be seen weekly for 4 years on Nederland 2 with his block "Jo in the treehouse".

When I was 3, I decided I wanted to be a clown. That passion to entertain people never left me. When I was 8, I started performing at birthday parties of family and neighbors. At 18, my career started as a full-time artist.

The greatest passion in my life is to entertain the audience in such a way that during the performance they end up in a kind of primal accident where they forget all their worries and just enjoy themselves.

I want to use my TV appearances and performances to show how incredibly intelligent animals are! I have a quiet hope that in this way people will take better care of animals and eat less meat and animal products.

Chicken Curry is a real Diva... She is the only chicken in the world that can read minds, know math and jump through a burning hoop.
