In the forest lives a nightingale who sings so beautifully that it makes everyone happy. The whole people go looking, because the emperor wants that nightingale so badly in his palace. When the nightingale has to compete with an artificial nightingale he secretly flies away. The emperor falls ill and is visited by death, but is saved by the real nightingale, as legend has it.
