Versatile live band. As the lead vocals are combined by piano entertainer Dave and Dance Diva Sheena it creates a cross between a piano party show and a swinging party cover band where no one stays (stands) still.

Captain Midnight XL plays at high speed and full of energy all genres of yesterday and today, often packaged in surprising mashups and medleys. The band can also be expanded with "Famous Friends" such as Xander de Buisonje, Berget Lewis, Charly Luske, Shirma Rouse and others.

The time of dull cover bands with a quasi-swinging repertoire is miles behind us in 2020. Fortunately, we at Captain Midnight think so, because a party should be a party; energetic, cozy and full of recognition. And let's make that our specialty. On a Captain Midnight evening we effortlessly mix the charm of a party cover band with the tempo of a piano show. And switch in a pleasant tempo between rock 'n roll, dance and soul classics and for example the greatest Dutch hits. With, of course, plenty of room for today's hits.

In our 7-piece band, each has his or her own specialty. And we know how to mix them into a pretty tasty balance in a repertoire full of mashups and medleys. From The Weather Girls to Armin, from Elvis to Borsato and from Hazes to Bruno Mars.

You name it, and we can do it. Moreover, Captain Midnight XL is regularly assisted by well-known guest artists such as Xander de Buisonjé, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Shirma Rouse. To give your party just that little extra sparkle. And all this stylishly dressed and against a renewed cool decor. Because well, the eye wants something too.
