My name is Yvonne, raised in Twente and now living in Nijmegen. Music has always been an important part of my life. Music was constantly playing in the house: if there was no CD with classical music playing, my father would improvise jazz on the grand piano, or my mother would sing children's songs to us. Just as Agnetha (ABBA) sings in Thank You for the Music, "Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk, she says I began to sing long before I could talk," the same applied to me. My parents told me I was singing myself to sleep.

Music has the power to connect people, amaze, move, remind and comfort. It fills me with energy and gives me satisfaction to raise my voice to touch audiences in special moments.

During a farewell, music can touch us deeply and provide comfort. In addition, personal songs can be a beautiful tribute to the deceased, especially if performed live. A musical moment during the funeral / burial / cremation can take place at various moments, such as the entry of guests, during the service, when closing the coffin, during condolence or when leaving the room. Frequently requested songs are Tears in Heaven, May I be with you and I cried for you. Together we make sure it fits the wishes of the deceased and next of kin, to make it a personal and precious farewell service. The costs depend on the number of songs, the instrumentation and the available equipment.
