Over the years, Robbert has grown into an experienced jazz trumpet player who can accompany various types of events. Robbert can interpret a well-known melody soulful, but can also give an official moment an extra charge.

Robbert also has his own band (duo) with bass player, expandable with guitar. Or as an easy listening background, or as a concert act

Robbert has a lot of experience working with DJs, from 2005 until today. Among which he has done a lot of Wicked Jazz Sounds. He teaches (trumpet) at the Amsterdam Conservatory since 2016 and plays in the band of Guus Meeuwis, since 2017 in the band of Xander de Buisonjé and since 2019 in the band of Gerard Joling. He has also played for several years with the Ladies of Soul at the Ziggodome and at other events since 2018. Robbert has also worked with: Chaka Kahn, Candy Dulfer, Bob Mintzer, En Vogue.

Robbert (1982) started exploring music at a very young age. From the age of five he was addicted to the piano and from the age of seven he had piano lessons. At the age of twelve, he had the opportunity to be taught on a melodic instrument and the choice for the trumpet was made fairly quickly.
At the age of seventeen he was admitted to the Conservatory of Amsterdam, department of pop and jazz, for both instruments. After a successful propaedeutic year he decided to continue with trumpet only and to concentrate on arranging for large ensembles. In 2006 Robbert graduated for jazz trumpet (Masters degree) and Arranging (Bachelor degree) at the same school.

As an arranger he is also very active, so if people want a horn section with their band or separately as a section, he can offer repertoire or arrangements made to measure.
