Singer Fons Boer sings Dutch repertoire accompanied by his barrel organ Deuntje voor Teuntje. Long ago in Paris, on the square in front of the Centre Pompidou, storyteller Fons Boer saw a musician with a small barrel organ on a carrier cycle. The man played songs by Charles Trenet, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel and sang beautifully with them. It was an image that would never disappear from his retina.
In 2005 he took the plunge and started to build a barrel organ of his own design. Since 2011 he performs with his crank organ Deuntje voor Teuntje. Fons Boer / Theater De Overkant.
