An evening with MAGIC MIKE
The set starts after dinner with speak-easy music, think 90's hip-hop, funk and disco to gradually get into the mood. When the crowd has warmed up it's time to up the energy. I do that with an uptempo mix of heroes past and present. Prince, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, Bruno Mars, etc. To definitely get everyone on the dance floor, a Latin block full of Latin, bachata, reggaeton and familiar hits with rousing rhythms follows. With the dance floor full I keep the energy up with to blend dance classics, modern dance, house, pop, disco, rock, sing-along etc. The exact mix depends on the energy in the room. Of course I always close with (musical)
fireworks!
Apart from making the right choices when it comes to songs, artists and genre, it is especially important to me that the transitions between the different songs feel good and are creative. In addition, I find it important that the audience hears songs that surprise and excite besides the ''hits''!
Introduction and flexibility
What your event will look like musically is completely negotiable, through an introductory conversation all wishes can be communicated. I see it as my responsibility to ask specific questions to make sure that we are all on the same page. This way I make sure that my clients get exactly what they have in mind. That is not to say that everything is fixed in advance, I pride myself on my flexibility, so after the introductory meeting I am available at all times to update the plan. In addition, there is always room on the night to make requests.
Good to know, I am also open to international clients. I have previously worked with companies from France, Germany and Spain. So for French, German AND Spanish audiences, I have completely unique tracklists.

DJ Magic Mike sets very high standards for himself and I had a wonderful appreciation for this! He was open with me about provided equipment not working properly but still killed it DJ'ing our company event. He had everyone on the floor dancing and made it hard for us to accept when the party was over! Thank you a million times!
