Hi, my name to most people is Wouter, but when I make music for others, I am 'The Blonde Tornado'! A versatile singer/guitarist who can draw from a very diverse repertoire. So there is something recognizable for everyone. Music from different decades pass in review. Old songs from Johnny Cash or Boudewijn de Groot to acoustic covers of hits from the 90s, the latest Dutch sing-alongs and everything in between. My one-man show has it all! In a nice loose way with here and there some humor I talk the songs together. Usually I play 2 x 45 minutes in which we build up to a sing along
party at the end.
Getting the people to sing along is what I do best, but if you prefer music for the background at a lower volume, even then you have come to the right place. Or do you just want a nice romantic song at your wedding ceremony? Everything is possible.
I am flexible and like to think with you. I can easily bring my own equipment, excellent for rooms, living rooms, gardens etc. This could even be possible in places where there is no electricity, because my equipment works on battery. If your event does require some larger sound, we can look at the possibilities together.

The blonde tornado beautifully framed my birthday party with his performance. Requests went through the room on beer mats and there was good dancing. Wouter plays both old hits and more modern sing-alongs improvising effortlessly it seems. Both old and young had a great time and I received many compliments for the chosen artist.

Although he is not well known in West-Brabant yet, he is an artist that you definitely want on your event. I personally think that the price he asks for his performance is not in line with the market. He is worth much, much more than what he asks! The performance of De Blonde Tornado was a great success! Not in the easiest place; in an Atrium, surrounded by people having lunch who, because of that lunch, didn't necessarily have all the attention for the performance. Not that Wouter let himself be held back by that; with a combination of covers and his own songs he played happily on and looked for interaction with the audience in a modest way. This regularly resulted in a heartfelt applause or even singing along; a great performance within these difficult circumstances! Wouter's flexibility and pleasant cooperation in the preliminary stage as on the day itself, are certainly an advantage! As far as we are concerned, certainly worth repeating!

What a great garden party yesterday. Every now and then the rain came out of the sky and then the sun was shining again, there were more than 100 people, but the real atmosphere maker was The Blonde Tornado. We had asked Wouter to give the party extra atmosphere with the music and we succeeded. We had a lot of positive reactions from all the guests, great! You may think you can't book a good artist for that money, but the blonde tornado changed that for me! Pure voice, sings English, Dutch and sing-alongs! Feels like when a song needs a bad atmosphere. He was also present an hour and a quarter before the start time. So very neat. My evening is made complete. He's definitely worth the money!
