OGENE is in a new artistic chapter that focuses on creative freedom, emotional depth and vocal power. After years of success within the mainstream pop landscape, the three sisters decided to radically change course. They consciously chose independence and full artistic control, with the goal of making music without concessions to formats, expectations or audiences.

This reorientation, after nearly three years of writing and experimentation, resulted in Garden of Hera (2025), OGENE's first concept album. The album is inspired by the Greek myth of the Hesperides-three sister nymphs with enchanting voices-and provides a powerful metaphor for their personal and musical transformation. The sound is layered and genre-transcending, carried by rich harmonies, emotional intensity and a distinct artistic vision.

With Garden of Hera, OGENE emphatically positions themselves as an act for an international audience that values authenticity, artistic depth and a compelling live experience. On May 22, 2025, they will present the album live for the first time at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg, the starting point of a new international chapter.

Behind this artistic innovation lies an exceptionally strong history. OGENE consists of three sisters: Amy and Shelley (twins) and Lisa (a year and a half older). They grew up in a small village in the Netherlands where singing and performing were part of their daily lives from an early age. At ages 11 and 12, they won the Junior Song Festival, which led to a record deal and several successful releases.

In 2014, they won The Voice of Holland, establishing the name OGENE in one fell swoop. Major TV shows, festivals and sold-out theater tours followed. In 2017, they represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest, exactly ten years after their debut at the junior edition. During the pandemic, they reached a worldwide audience with livestream concerts and viral cover videos, garnering praise from members of Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen and Dolly Parton, among others.

With their unique collaborative singing, international appeal and renewed artistic direction, OGENE is poised to reach new audiences-without losing sight of their roots, craftsmanship and impressive track record.

Their performance combines songs from the new album Garden of Hera with familiar sing-alongs with which OGENE has built an impressive live reputation in recent years. In addition, the sisters perform carefully chosen covers in a fresh interpretation of their own, all in their signature three-part harmony. The result is a stylish and contemporary show, musically powerful and with attention to detail in both music and presentation - exactly the level and creativity you would expect from OGENE, in a surprising and compelling performance.
