(Options: 1.5hrs - 1 day). Meet Iris and Mae — authors of "Maar je lacht toch nog?" and former co-founders of the mental health foundation Let's Break the Shame. As authentic and deeply impactful public speakers, they bring lived experience, professional insight, and heartfelt storytelling to organizations seeking to foster psychological safety, belonging, and trust.
In today's fast-paced world, where performance can overshadow people, creating a culture of safety and trust is more essential than ever. Iris and Mae bring your teams a moment of reflection — and transformation — through inspiring keynotes and interactive sessions.
Their approach blends personal storytelling with practical expertise, making complex topics accessible and actionable. With engaging energy and deep empathy, they foster connection, challenge assumptions, and ignite meaningful dialogue — helping organizations build environments where every voice matters.
Every employee should feel accepted and included — not just as a contributor to a team, but as a whole human being. When people feel safe to show up as their authentic selves, the ripple effect is powerful: greater collaboration, creativity, and
resilience across the organization.
A safe and healthy workplace lays the foundation for job satisfaction, employee retention, and overall performance. DEI practices aren’t just about policy — they’re about culture. They allow people not only to do their jobs but to actively shape and strengthen the community they’re part of.
Iris and Mae shine a light on what might be silently impacting your people — from unseen struggles to everyday moments of exclusion. By sharing their lived experiences and professional knowledge, they help you understand what inclusion looks like in action, what psychological safety feels like, and how to recognize and shift behaviors that harm team culture.
This session is more than a talk — it’s a catalyst for change.
