Event Quartet is led by viola player Alex Welch. The quartet consists of experienced musicians who play with the Netherlands' leading orchestras, including the Metropole Orkest, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Gelderland Orchestra and the Radio Philharmonie. In addition, the musicians regularly appear on stage, in musicals (such as Les Miserables and Aida) and at major concerts with various rock bands and pop artists (such as The Kik, Bløf, Di-rect and Kygo)
We enjoy playing as a string quartet for recitals, events, weddings and parties.
Our repertoire is large and varied. In addition to traditional classical string parts, we have a large collection of classical arrangements. Many other genres and modern styles are also on our playlist, including jazz, Latin, tango, pop, rock and musicals.

The Event Quartet opened our General Membership Meeting with Vivaldi's 4 Seasons (Spring). What a great performance. In this way our ALV was opened pleasantly, the participants visibly enjoyed themselves. From the intake to the performance the communication was flawless.
