'Cashflow III', a real sixties band of five experienced musicians, puts on solid, tough, dazzling shows with famous and lesser known hits by Johnny Cash in the style of San Quentin 1969. Even before the band officially existed they were live on some dutch radio stations in 2013. At their first gig, February 3rd 2013 in Papendrecht, the venue was too small and hundreds of people had to come back later for a quickly scheduled second gig. Their next gig lasted 2,5 minutes, but was live on Nederland 2. Wubbo Ockels couldn't stay in his seat ...

During the Johnny Cash Memorial, on 15 September 2013 in De Willem in Papendrecht, they played in front of a sold out theatre. This was their first really serious performance. The audience went wild with songs like 'Folsom Prison Blues', 'I Walk the Line' and 'Ring of Fire', but there were also goosebumps moments with 'Hurt', 'Wayfaring Stranger' and 'Lead me gently Home'.
After that it went fast with Cashflow III. The band plays from pub to church, from tent to theatre, from rockabilly party to Rotary-club and from wedding to company party. Cashflow III guarantees a real American sound like you would only expect from Nashville. The credible singing style of Matthijs Goedegebuure who has been performing Cash songs for over 30 years and the authentic Nashville sound of lead guitarist Oscar Bax determine the sound. Matthijs has connections with Cash's family in Nashville and was a guest at Johnny Cash's former holiday home for two weeks in 2016 to work on his book about Johnny Cash. He has been live on the radio in Tennessee.
