Live soul, R&B and funk with powerhouse vocals, groove and top notch musicianship. Souljamz performs a stylish mix of Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Prince, D’Angelo, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and more — from soulful atmosphere to a full dance floor.

Soulful when the moment calls for it. Irresistibly groovy when it’s time to dance.

Led by Prosper Ramaker, Souljamz brings together soul, R&B and funk in a dynamic live performance together with top musicians from the Amsterdam live music scene.

With a warm, powerful sound and a strong groove, the band performs music inspired by the golden eras of soul and R&B alongside contemporary favourites.

Expect songs by artists including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Prince, Anita Baker, Marvin Gaye, D’Angelo, Alicia Keys, Sade, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Earth, Wind & Fire and more.

The focus is on great songs, strong musicianship and genuine soul. The set can move naturally from sophisticated background grooves into an energetic evening performance with songs such as Never Too Much, American Boy, Rock with You, Kiss, Sweet Love, Treasure, Purple Rain and Ain’t Nobody.

This makes the band especially suitable for weddings, company events, private celebrations, festivals, clubs, hospitality events and parties where both musical quality and atmosphere matter.

The performance can be tailored to your event, from a smooth soul and R&B set to a more upbeat funk and dance-oriented show.
