MAGU is the artistic project of Uruguayan singer-songwriter Maia Steinberg, blending Latin American roots with global musical influences through poetic songwriting, diverse instruments, and heartfelt performances that create spaces for connection across cultures.

MAGU is the artistic project of Uruguayan singer-songwriter Maia Steinberg, whose music is rooted in Latin American songwriting and enriched by influences from diverse musical traditions around the world.
Through poetic lyrics, storytelling, and a unique blend of instruments—including folk guitar, Indian harmonium, didgeridoo, and world percussion— MAGU creates an intimate and uplifting soundscape where cultures, rhythms, and personal experiences meet. Each song invites audiences to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the stories that shape us.

At the heart of the project is the belief that every human experience, including moments of struggle and transformation, holds the possibility of becoming beauty.
