The internationally acclaimed music duo Triana y Luca are the most authentic Spanish & Latin project on this platform. Captivating audiences with their intimate performances, the duo have an extensive professional career, have played at Latin, Jazz, and World music festivals such as JazzOUT Limburg, Días Latinos (Amersfoort) and pop stages such as Poppodium Volt and ECI Cultuurfabriek. Their sound is melancholic, romantic, sensual, and dreamy, and is sure to touch the hearts of their audience.

Triana y Luca are "the real deal" act for traditional Latin American and Spanish folk music.

The two artists; Triana (Mexican, Spanish, Canadian) and Luca (Spanish, Luxembourgish) met in Maastricht in 2021. Triana is an multidimensional artist, Luca a student of Jazz guitar at the Conservatorium of Maastricht. They connected over their love for traditional music and cultural heritage. Their music is influenced by different Ibero American folkloric styles such as Mexican rancheras, boleros, nueva canción, son jarocho, música llanera, Andean music, and Flamenco. Their sound is influenced by artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Silvia Perez Crúz, Silvana Estrada, and Simon Díaz. Their original compositions are also influenced by the artist's backgrounds in poetry and jazz.

In the last two years, the duo have quickly been on the rise as a professional act in the internacional music industry. They have played at festivals across the Netherlands (Cultura Nova, JazzOUT, Días Latinos), Portugal (World Music Week B.O.T.A), Luxembourg, Spain, and Belgium. In 2022 they were selected for two showcase festivals; Días Latinos 2022 (NL) and Screaming Fields (LU) where they were winners of 3 booking prizes. This April 2023, they were selected for the showcase festival Booster 2023 (Enschede, NL). In 2022 they were also finalists for Conservatorium Maastricht's "Awards for Innovation in Music".

In 2021/2022, they were artists in residency for the production company Intro in Situ (NL)'s "Startende Makers Programme", and in 2022 they were recipients of Pop in Limburg's Makersregeling grant and trajectory, winners of Code043's Youth Competition, and recipients of grants from the Luxembourgish Ministry of Culture, the Luxembourgish Art Council, as well as the music publishing organizations SENA and SACEM.

Having a simple live set up and extensive performing experience means the duo are adaptable to different settings and venues. In addition to playing their original music, the duo also have a large repertoire of Latin American, Spanish, and Latin Jazz music.
