Mario Semi is an Indonesian-born, Netherlands-based singer, guitarist, and live looping artist. Blending soul, funk, reggae, blues, and psychedelic grooves, he transforms a solo acoustic performance into the sound of a full band through layered guitar, vocals, and rhythmic live looping.

Inspired by artists such as Bill Withers, The Meters, Khruangbin, Black Pumas, Bob Marley, and John Mayer, Mario creates immersive performances where groove takes center stage. Using only his voice, acoustic guitar, and loop station, he builds each arrangement live, combining percussion, basslines, harmonies, and melodic textures in real time.

His repertoire ranges from timeless soul classics to modern groove-based reinterpretations, making his performances equally suited for cocktail bars, festivals, weddings, restaurants, hotels, and private events.
