Ciao! We are BOJA an acoustic duo voice and guitar composed of Francesco and Ornella from Puglia (Italy).
We open our set with classic masterpieces of bossanova before transitioning into traditional jazz and swing. We are also available for private events such as wedding ceremonies, birthdays and many more, will be glad to make special your celebrating event.
When necessary, we also have an amplifier - suitable for roughly fifty people - at an additional charge of € 50. For more informations, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Francesco Moramarco has been playing the electric guitar over twenty years, and he's studying at the HKU Conservatory in Utrecht. His core musical interests range from traditional to contemporary jazz, which is reflected in his previous performances. Francesco have extensive experience performing live in Italy, and in
the Netherlands. Having played with local and international musicians at reputable venues including: TivoliVredenburg, De Twee Spieghels in Leiden, Pothuys, IJ Canteen, Cafe Tilt, Kopi Susu Cultural Center, Strowis Sunday Afternoon Concerts.
Since 2018 he has started to colaborate with the singer Ornella Ceci.
Ornella is a craft woman specialized in violin making and restoring; she studied piano then after 15 years performing in classical and gospel choirs, in 2009 has started an intensive training in vocal tecnique and jazz theory. She has a huge experience in live performing like concerts, musical shows as actress/singer, private events, till 2017 when she moved in Netherlands.

We invited Francesco during a special dinner with 17 people. He, together with a charming Japanese singer, Waka, performed wonderfully! Francesco is very nice and flexible and the combination of his performance on the guitar with the warm voice of Wake made our night!

Very nice performance in the Atrium in the City Hall of The Hague for our company reception. We had a last minute request for the same day, but Francesco replied very fast and 3 hours later he was playing for us :) Very easy going and a great musician!

Francesco played my 30th birthday and did an amazing job - his music was the perfect vibe for a fun and cozy atmosphere. He was very communicative and professional and it's clear he puts a lot of heart into what he does. He was able to read the room and play the perfect tunes - we didn't want him to stop! I would definitely have Francisco play any party going forward, he was the best!
