From an early age, Ian Barras was fascinated by electronic music. At 12, he mixed with two cassette decks, recording live sets using only the record and pause buttons. By 14, he was performing at school and local parties, earning enough to buy his first real mixer and turntables. At 18, he started producing with an Akai S700 sampler, Atari computer and Roland 505 drum machine — the foundation of his deep, melodic, Ibiza-inspired sound.
