Celtic Folk Music Duo 'The Bee in the Box' bestaat uit Annemarie de Bie en Erik de Jong. Beide zijn al vele jaren professioneel actief in de Ierse en Schotse traditionele muziekwereld. Deze samenwerking levert dan ook een mooie act op die een perfecte Keltische sfeer weet neer te zetten.
Annemarie de Bie en Erik de Jong vormen samen het Keltische muziekduo ‘The Bee in the Box’. Dit veelzijdige duo speelt Schotse en Ierse folk op gitaar, accordeon, zang, Ierse dwarsfluit, bodhrán en whistle. Annemarie en Erik hebben elkaar ontmoet tijdens traditionele Ierse muzieksessies in Traditional Irish Music Pub O’Ceallaigh te Groningen. Beide hebben van deze muziekstijl (grotendeels) hun beroep gemaakt. Annemarie speelt ook veel solo als Celtann en met de band Fling. Ook Erik speelt in nog een groot aantal andere formaties. Samen spelen ze ook nog in de grotere formatie The Assassenachs.
De muziek is zowel ingetogen als uitgelaten en bestaat uit liedjes en instrumentale dansmuziek. Annemarie zingt zowel in het Engels als het Gaelic. Op deze pagina
