De enige tribute band in Europa die een bijzondere ode brengt aan één van de grootse bluesartiesten allertijden, Father of The Blues, Muddy Waters. In 2024 zullen zij 'The Hoochie Coochie Tour' doen ter gelegenheid van het 70 jarig bestaan van het nummer 'Hoochie Coochie Man'.
Op 7 januari 2024 was het precies 70 jaar geleden dat het nummer 'Hoochie Coochie Man' van Muddy Waters werd uitgebracht (geschreven door Willie Dixon). Dit nummer is één van de bekendste bluesnummers ooit.
In 2024 gaat de Muddy Waters Tribute Band deze 'verjaardag' vieren met 'The Hoochie Coochie Tour'. In 2019 deden zij dit bij de 65e 'verjaardag'.
Niet een aaneengesloten tour, maar een reeks aan optredens verspreid over het jaar, Nederland en waarschijnlijk ook buitenland.
De optredens in de tour zullen daar waar mogelijk met beelden worden ondersteund.
The Muddy Waters Tribute Band beoogt niet een kopie te zijn van de oorspronkelijke Muddy Waters Band, maar is een eerbetoon aan de 'Father of the Blues' en is met name geïnspireerd door
de jaren 70 shows en samenstelling van de band.
Met een goede dwarsdoorsnede van het repertoire, wat Muddy en zijn band in die jaren speelde, neemt de Muddy Waters Tribute Band het publiek mee in de sfeer en vibe van één van de belangrijkste, invloedrijkste en bekendste blues artiesten en diens band die er ooit bestaan heeft.
Later in het jaar worden er mogelijk voor een aantal optredens een paar zeer speciale Amerikaanse gasten toegevoegd aan de show....

Robbert Fossen and his band played the roof of the house on Sunday. It was a Sunday afternoon but that was nowhere to be seen, people flew onto the dance floor and enjoyed the show from start to finish. The finest blues classics passed by and are performed with honor by Robbert and his very good band.
