Duo Young Gold bestaat uit violist/altviolist Ian de Jong en cellist/gitarist/zanger Thomas van Geelen. De diversiteit van hun repertoire zorgt voor een spannende reis door verschillende muzikale stijlen. Het duo gaat moeiteloos van een gezongen jazz standard naar een Bach twee-stemmige invention naar een gypsy czardas om vervolgens af te sluiten met een John Legend pophit.
Duo Young Gold heeft gespeeld op bruiloften, huiskamerconcerten, verjaardagsfeesten en als dinershow tussen de gangen door. Het duo speelt zowel versterkt als akoestisch en is dus inzetbaar in alle soorten zalen en kamers.

Ian de Jong provided a beautiful serenade with the violin for my mother-in-law's 81st birthday. His performance of the Hungarian piece of music was both breathtaking and moving and brought a special atmosphere to the celebration. The birthday girl was deeply impressed by his talent. An unforgettable addition to a special day. Ian is nice to work with. He thinks along with the client and keeps appointments. A topper!
