In 2011 ben ik afgestudeerd als psycholoog aan de VU in Amsterdam.
Mijn eerste banen waren echter het organiseren van twee internationale events in Qatar en Israel.
Daarna werd ik gevraagd het Nederlandse bedrijf Dopper (de herbruikbare waterfles) uit te breiden naar Amerika.
Ik verhuisde voor 3 jaar naar San Francisco, werkte midden in Silicon Valley en heb enorm veel ervaring opgedaan op het gebied van internationaal ondernemerschap.
Terug in Nederland was ik bij het begin van het startup ecosysteem in Nederland (StartupDelta met Neelie kroes, later Techleap met Constantijn van Oranje) en heb ik de afgelopen 10+ jaar allerlei rollen vervuld in de tech, deeptech, rondom innovatie, in publiek private partnerships, en als ondernemer.
De liefde voor psychologie is
altijd blijven bestaan en komt tot uiting in mijn werk als mediator en begeleider van organisatie- en familieopstellingen.
Mijn hostingstijl is heel persoonlijk. Daarmee bedoel ik dat ik graag vooraf contact maak met de sprekers die ik introduceer, en hen echt een podium geef nog voordat zij een podium betreden.

At the end of 2021, iL Office organised a live event on the Future of the Office. For this, we needed a host who could interview our guests and add depth to the topic. We are very happy that we asked Irene to do this for us. She prepared very well and immersed herself in the topic.
