Salmonella is een theatraal popduo dat experimentele pop en kleinkunst met elkaar verweeft. Julia Rosenhart en Eva Mareen nemen het publiek mee in een verhaal dat beweegt tussen muziek, spoken word en verrassende theatrale momenten.
Salmonella bestaat uit singer-songwriter Julia Rosenhart en actrice/zangeres Eva Mareen. Samen maken ze een theatraal concert waarin muziek en verhaal gelijkwaardig naast elkaar bestaan. Hun stijl beweegt tussen experimentele pop en kleinkunst: synths, meerstemmigheid en onverwachte harmonieën, afgewisseld met korte gesproken teksten die het verhaal verder dragen.
Ze spelen een voorstelling van ongeveer een uur, geschikt voor festivals, theaters en bedrijfsoptredens. Hoewel de performance duidelijk story-driven is, blijft er ruimte voor het publiek om op bepaalde momenten mee te reageren.
Ze hebben ruimte nodig voor synthesizers en werken graag met versterking, maar kunnen ook hun eigen speakers meenemen wanneer dat nodig is. De sfeer van een optreden van Salmonella laat zich niet vangen in één woord: het is een emotionele
