Het duo Cecilia (zang) en Sybren (gitaar/bugel) zijn echte rasmuzikanten, jong met muziek begonnen en altijd in verschillende bandjes gespeeld. Zij hebben elkaar ontmoet in een grotere jazz/funk band en hebben in de coronaperiode besloten om samen als duo een aparte set uit te werken.
Sybren en Cecilia spelen een intieme, toegankelijke set liedjes en medleys die het leven en de liefde vieren, fijne akoestische jazz en easy listening pop met een kleine soultwist, waarbij u heerlijk kunt wegdromen. Bekende guilty pleasures afgewisseld met luchtige pop, jazz van Eva Cassidy, Grease tot Janis Joplin!
Op verzoek werken wij ook nummers uit die voor de gelegenheid bijzonder zijn en een speciale betekenis hebben. Dit kunnen wij ook op video opnemen en nasturen.

Ons optreden en onze muziek zijn uitermate geschikt voor borrels, kleine feestjes en huwelijksceremonies.
Publiek dat aan het borrelen is hoort onze sfeervolle muziek en bekende nummers op de achtergrond. Maar ook intieme momenten tijdens een huwelijksceremonie waar een speciaal nummer bij hoort.
Zet ons neer en wij brengen sfeer op het feest! Tip, bekijk de setlist en bel gerust, we stellen ons graag voor!
Het totaalbedrag wordt in overleg bepaald, afhankelijk van de wensen. De meeste kosten zijn voor 'op komen dagen', iets langer spelen is relatief goedkoper.
Mocht je alléén de zangeres met gitaaropnames willen boeken kan dat ook, in overleg bepalen we dan samen de korting op de prijs.

Just the two of us did an excellent job of providing the music which added to the atmosphere of the get-together. They are modest in the background so you can have a conversation just fine and at the same time present to influence the atmosphere nicely.

Seen during busy crowd in church of Krommeniedijk. There Cecilia immediately noticed her warm voice. Now let her sing at my birthday party and with great guitar accompaniment by Sybren. It was complete! Repeatable, thanks?

A few weeks ago I got to listen to Cecilia and Sybren's music for the first time! What a feast that was! And how beautiful this girl can sing, she really gives me goose bumps sometimes. From jazz to pop, they are very versatile! Definitely recommended for a party at home or with colleagues!

I had the pleasure of watching and listening to the band Just the two of us in December. It is a wonderful collaboration between two SUPER talented musicians. Their repertoire includes songs that everyone knows, but are interpreted in a wonderful, authentic way. Cecilia has a pure, clean voice that touches every note. Sybren is incredibly musical and has an "innate ability to improvise," it seems. Together they have the ability to inspire each other and the audience. Their performance is intimate, with the two complementing each other. Their musicality is both delicate and powerful, and they manage to captivate the audience from start to finish.
