Marije de Vries is een zangeres uit Friesland. De muziek die ze speelt zijn bestaande folk en soul liedjes van de jaren '60 tot en met nu. Met een gitaar, mondharmonica en een warme stem zet Marije de toon voor een ontspannen en romantische sfeer.

Marije werkt al jaren als professional in de muziek. Ze treedt op in restaurants, op bruiloften en andere gelegenheden. Daarnaast werkt ze als singer-songwriter ook nog aan verschillende samenwerkingsprojecten.
In opdracht van Stichting Liet in Friesland schreef ze twee jaar op een rij liedjes die ze ook uitvoerde voor het gelijknamig songfestival. Met de band WONDER trad ze eerder al op bij Europese festivals waaronder het Showcase festival Eurosonic Noorderslag, Into The Great Wide Open en Grasnapolsky, en ze toerde recentelijk internationaal met het Folk trio Pinfeather.

Marije sang at our wedding ceremony and drinks. She did a fantastic job! She has a warm and romantic sound and creates a relaxed vibe. She can handle many songs, also because she gives them her own twist. She accompanied her singing herself with guitar and with one of the songs she played the harmonica. Communication with her was smooth. She was also open to request songs and improvisation during the day. In short: Marije is definitely someone you want at your wedding or other celebration to make the day even more special. :)
