Een zeer gevarieerd overwegend nostalgisch liedjesprogamma met de naam Sentimental Journey van bekende covers ( van dus wat langer geleden) in Nederlands, Engels en Franstalig, gezongen door Madeleine Vogels( met eigen orkestbanden en haar eigen installatie als begeleiding) voor ouderen/ zorginstellingen, waar de mensen weer helemaal blij van gaan worden.

In 2023 stond Madeleine begeleid door Rodolfo in de finale van het Concours de la chanson Francaise in het Torpedotheater met 2 nummers van Edith Piaf nl Padam Padam en Mon Dieu .

Nostalgische gezellige, lieve, mooie, gekke, jazzy ,levens, volkse, Amsterdams, Rotterdams, ontroerende etc, luister en meezing /meedein en( naar wens) ook wat dans liedjes voor ouderen/ zorginstellingen gezongen door Madeleine Vogels met de titel Sentimental Journey.
Madeleine is dit in 2020 begonnen nav dat zij eerder met een musicalgroep ( waar zij een rol in had) in een zorginstelling ging zingen en toen werd geinspireerd om dit zelf te gaan nav het enthousiasme van de bewoners.
Het begon met een 30 tal liedjes, maar ondertussen zitten er rond de 180 liedjes in haar repertoire en is zij zich nav Non Rien De Rien van Edith Piaff ( wat in haar repertoire zat en zeer goed ontvangen
werd ) gaan toeleggen op meer franse chansons en is zij bv ook te boeken met een overwegend frans progamma met een accordeonist.
in 2023 stond Madeleine begeleid door Rodolfo in de finale van het Concours de la chanson Francaise in het Torpedotheater met 2 nummers van Edith Piaf nl Padam Padam en Mon Dieu hetgeen te bekijken is op haar blog middels haar Facebook pagina Madeleine Vogels.

Tijdens de City Row Race op 09 oktober 2022 trad Madeleine op, in een woord geweldig! Tussen de roeiwedstrijd, gehouden op het Nieuwe Meer, en de prijsuitreiking was het optreden. De stemming zat er meteen goed in op Wv De Schinkel en sommige roeiers gingen zelfs dansen. Madeleine zong mooie Franse liedjes maar ook echte Amsterdamse liedjes ?. Het was een heel geslaagd optreden en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Madeleine dank je wel, Hubertine namens de City Row Race Commissie
Ik heb Madeleine Vogels een paar keer zien optreden in Weesp en Amsterdam waarbij ze onder andere allerlei franse chansons ten gehore heeft gebracht, erg goed. Het nodigde uit om zachtjes mee te doen. Ik zag Piaf zo voor me.

Het was een prima optreden met nostalgische Nederlandse, volkse Amsterdamse, cabaret- en ballad-achtige, Franse, Engelse, jazzy en dak-er-af-liedjes. Een zangeres die makkelijk zingt, veelzijdig is en een prettige sfeer neerzet. Echt een Sentimental Journey !

coordination with the artist beforehand went well, she was present and installed well on time. unfortunately not many French chansons, although this was discussed. Madeleine not only sings well, but she has a very diverse repertoire. She enthusiastically responds to her audience, whether it is for residents in a nursing home, a café or one in an association canteen. Even if the technique fails, (as she recently had at a performance with us in the Jan Bonga house in Amsterdam West) she does not let herself go out of the field and she improvises with the means at her disposal, so that the audience did not have to be disappointed and the performance could go on as if nothing was wrong and everyone was happy with it!

Your program Sentimental Journey, full of recognizable songs for our target group, beautifully and lovingly sung, predominantly in English, but also with a number of delightful Dutch Meezingers, was a party! Madeleine was with us a few times last year for a performance at a community building garden party of the Green opportunity and care facility Geuzenveld of Cordaan in Amsterdam west. She is a nice warm cozy woman and managed to captivate everyone with her songs and has a wide repertoire for everyone's taste.
