Een door de wol geverfde Saxofonist die ieder concert of feest met gemak bespeeld,
flexibel qua stijl en in voor alle muzikale uitspattingen met een hoog swing & groove gehalte. Een sympathieke vent die je graag los ziet gaan op je feest, of juist mooi ingetogen de sfeer versterkt.. Solo met tape en eigen geluidsset of in combinatie met een DJ of live duo/trio/band. De prijs is gebaseerd op solo sax met mogelijkheid tot inprikken op ter plekke aanwezige geluidsset.
Toon Meijer, alias "Saxotone" beweegt zich al jaren door zeer succesvol door alle muziekstijlen heen.
Een multi-genre Saxofonist, met als grote passie Boogaloo, Souljazz en Rhythm & Blues, waarmee hij o.a. zijn eigen Band Saxotones Groove Mission al jaren langs Jazzfestivals en Clubs leidt.
In het DJ circuit ook een zeer graag geziene muzikant, klaar voor iedere uitdaging, en in staat om, op het gehoor improviserend, alle mogelijke dance tracks, latin grooves, soulclassics en pop ballads van een heerlijke "Saxosaus" te voorzien!
Toon is die bezeten Saxofonist die de sfeer als geen ander aanvoelt, en iedere live situatie de extra power of zwoelheid geeft waar het nog net aan ontbrak!
Onophoudelijk live optreden met Bands, Dj's en alle uiteenlopende bezettingen is Saxotone's
cup of tea. Als bandleader en sideman reist hij sinds jaren van jazzfestival naar privé feest, en van evenement naar schouwburg.
Solo sax is dus alleen sax, bv bij DJ of band al aanwezig. Voor Solo sax met eigen extra geluidsset incl. ondersteunende muziek en backing tracks, kijk ook bij "Sax and Tracks" via deze site, In overleg is er veel mogelijk qua combinaties en bezettingen. Toon regelt ook een DJ of Jazztrio of zangeres, enz. enz. indien gewenst.
