Virtuoso accordionist specializing in danceable Western and Eastern European folk styles such as Irish, Scottish, balfolk, Flemish, French, Balkan and klezmer. Singing is possible, especially Irish/Scottish songs.

Folk accordionist Erik is a versatile musician with an extensive repertoire ranging from Irish/Scottish folk (his specialty), to French/Flemish balfolk and to Eastern European klezmer and Balkan music. With twenty years of experience on his instrument and playing in a variety of formations, he knows how to adapt his repertoire for every occasion. From virtuoso performances for a listening audience, to appropriate background music, anything is possible. Erik can play solo, but can also come with other musicians, or even organize workshops, such as a Scottish dance workshop (ceilidh).
