We brengen originals en een enkele cover (Tom Petty/ Paul Simon). Onze nummers zijn verhalend en we vragen je te luisteren en te ondergaan. Graag komen we in je kroeg, theater of huiskamer spelen om je een mooie, diepzinnige avond te bezorgen.

Picture this: an emotional musical journey that takes you to unexpected places. A sonically meandering trip that marries the exotic and the familiar. The Story You Tell repertoire is co-written by 5 seasoned musicians in a (admittedly cramped) home studio.
We’re talking really democratic co-writing: Each member has an equal contribution and the right to veto. Any musical or lyrical idea brought to the studio sparks a concerted attempt to make it flourish into a full-fledged song. It may sound like an impossibly laborious process but, on the contrary, it leads to authentically unique songs, meticulously arranged with enough leeway for improvisation.
The songs sound simultaneously contemporary and fresh. Not shunning the dark sides of life: Smile, Smile, Smile (ironically) is about toxic positivity. Get Lost is about daydreams and boredom, whilst Many Would not Come tells a story about a disillusioned guardian angel rejected by those would actually benefit from salvation. Needless to say, love is covered as well, for example, in “Worlds ruled by fools.” Story You Tell is a one-of-a-kind band with their own distinct sound.
