Als solo saxofonist brengt Monique een breed repertoire, variërend van pop en funk tot lounge, klassiek en big band. Haar live saxofoon is subtiel waar het kan en aanwezig waar het mag, altijd afgestemd op het publiek en de gelegenheid.
Monique on Sax is een conservatoriumopgeleide saxofonist met ruime internationale podiumervaring. Dankzij haar jarenlange carrière weet zij precies hoe zij met haar live saxofoonmuziek de juiste toon raakt en het publiek op natuurlijke wijze meeneemt in de sfeer van het moment.
Naast haar solo-optredens speelde Monique jarenlang in de Hermes House Band, waarmee zij optrad op grote podia en evenementen in onder andere Dubai, Engeland, Qatar en Australië. Deze ervaring heeft haar ontwikkeld tot een veelzijdige en zelfverzekerde saxofonist.
