Laterna Magica of “De Toverlantaarn” is een visuele theatervoorstelling geschikt vanaf 6+.
Een zaklamp doet dienst als magische lantaarn waarmee de wereld van het theater wordt uitgelicht. Prijswinnend Illusionist Tim Horsting vertelt over theatertechniek, film, pantomime, straattheater en hoe hij elk aspect van theatermaken inzet om zijn publiek te verbazen. Dit doet hij aan de hand van een aantal klassieke optische illusies.
Een unieke combinatie van theatercollege, beeldend theater, schaduwspel en illusie.
De voorstelling is geschikt voor bovenbouw/voortgezet onderwijs/bibliotheken en kleine theaters. Omdat de voorstelling gaat over werken in het theater past deze ook binnen het thema van de kinderboekenweek.
Tim Horsting is prijswinnend goochelaar en theatermaker. Hij was te zien op festivals en evenementen door heel europa. Op
TV met Uri Geller, als "Magische Ali" in de Efteling en overleefde diverse gevaarlijke recordpogingen. Momenteel is hij de huisgoochelaar van het luxueuze Rotterdamse Restaurant" Het Zalmhuis"

Tim had veel afwisselende trucs meegenomen voor de kinderen. De interactie maakte het nog leuker voor de kinderen. Iedereen van 4-12 zat met open mond te kijken. Tim is zeker een aanrader en ik zou hem zo nog een keer boeken!

Tim gave away a fun show for the children and kept them entertained for a long time even though they were getting impatient because of the arrival of St. Nicholas. The addition of the balloons for the children helped.

Tim performed at our party last Saturday. He did that fun: juggling at the tables, so it's almost private, while the rest of the party continues. He had nice acts, which he performed well. At the end he did a fire act, of which we were impressed. Nice guy, nice acts, a good addition to our party!

We were looking for a magic show for the age category 18-22 and thought we found it with this show by Tim. Unfortunately it was for just a younger age category and for us it was not quite what we expected. Furthermore it was a nice show and Tim is really a nice guy and easy to work with.
