Een semi-officiele plechtigheid, waarbij een persoon (de hoofdgast) openlijk en speels wordt beledigd en bespot voor het vermaak van het publiek. Lomp, ordinair en grof. Niet voor tere zieltjes! Maar wel ideaal voor een superorigineel huwelijk, teamuitje, jubileumfeest, vrijgezellenfeest, 40 jarig huwelijk etc.
De bedoeling van de roastceremonie is om de aanwezigen, maar vooral de hoofdgast, compleet af te kraken oftewel te roasten. Een cabaretvorm die heel persoonlijk, hard en grof is. Maar zo over de top ordinair en lomp, dat het gegarandeerd lachen wordt! Desgewenst kan ik -als hoogtepunt van de ceremonie- de hoofdgast een verklaring tot bijv. ander gedrag kan laten ondertekenen.

We thought it was a super nice personal ceremony. Big kudos to eelco for making up his speech for the ceremony incredibly well based on our personal conversations. He is very friendly and sociable and in our opinion has a good sense of humor. Despite the bad weather during the ceremony, eelco made this a beautiful ceremony. We thank him very much for his help and recommend him to everyone.

Eelco did a very nice job. We were looking for an informal ceremony, where jokes could be made. But it was also serious Eelco did this exactly as we wanted. We had nice introductory conversations. They made a nice, personal and correct story Got a lot of compliments on the ceremony afterwards. Good alternation between pleasant, serious and involving the audience. Definitely a recommendation!
