Bas speelt al zo'n 6 jaar bij restaurant Pasta e Basta. Dat is een restaurant waar de bediening optreedt voor de gasten waarbij hij de zangers en zangeressen begeleidt in diverse stijlen. Daarnaast vult hij de avonden muzikaal op waarbij hij zijn spel aanpast op de sfeer van de avond. Meestal begint hij de avond rustig met lichte klassiek/jazz en bouwt dit gedurende de avond op naar gezellige meezingers.
Naast uitvoerend pianist is hij componist voor reclames, theater en bands maar het live spelen voor publiek zal altijd een van zijn passies blijven.
Op aanvraag kunnen er ook zangers of zangeressen meegenomen worden.

Bas provided a wonderful piano performance during an intimate celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary. He felt the atmosphere perfectly and responded to our requests. Classical and modern-classical repertoire alternated with melodic evergreens from the sixties and seventies, as well as musicals and also some more recent songs. Perfect performance for a quiet get-together, where the music adds a lot but never claims the foreground. Fantastic pianist, highly recommended!
