Film Sint
Robert-Jan Wik is inmiddels 35 jaar een zeer gewaardeerde Sint. Bij een groot publiek is deze Sinterklaas voor velen nog steeds jeugdsentiment. Hij vertolkte de rol al meermaals op het witte doek en is bekend van de allereerste populaire (bioscoop) films (2004-2009). Wik was te zien in kaskrakers als ‘Sinterklaas en het Geheim van de Robijn’, ‘Sinterklaas en het Uur van de waarheid’ en ‘Sinterklaas en het Geheim van het Grote boek’.
Theater Sint
Ook voor grote events en theatershows draait hij zijn hand niet om. Naast zijn creatieve inzet als Sinterklaas Theaterproducent, was Wik zelf de Sint in diverse theaterproducties. In 2004 in de Jubileumshow in het Openluchttheater Caprera waar letterlijk de maan door de bomen scheen. Deze verrassende
SiSint productie kwam tot stand met unieke medewerking van o.a. Dieuwertje Blok, Maarten Wansink (toen bekend als Huispiet), Wegwijspiet (Michiel Kerbosch), Marc Nochem (nu bekend als de Boekpiet), Jochem van Gelder, Paul van Gorcum en vele anderen.
Wik’s hoogtepunt was de afscheidsshow van WegwijsPiet welke op televisie werd uitgezonden. Hij bedacht niet alleen deze theatershow, maar Wik wist tegelijk ook duizenden grote & kleine kinderen te paard te verrassen in de Haarlemse Theaterhal. Het werd (met name) voor Sinterklaasfeest liefhebbers een gedenkwaardige theatershow welke Wik tot stand bracht in samenwerking met Aart Staartjes, Michiel Kerbosch, Hetty Heyting (Tante Til – Familie Knots), Martine van Os en vele, velen anderen.

With the danger that now everyone is going to book this group, I can report that we had a very successful Sinterklaas party. Partly thanks to the arrival of St. Nicholas, but especially his pete's, the children and the parents went home afterwards. I have heard messages from: "Very personal", "Humorous", "Child-friendly", "Well-dressed" and "Well-mannered". It was a first time for us this way, but next year we will definitely do it again this way. Thanks.
