Met zijn stem, die het publiek weet te raken, vertolkt Kabier het Nederlandse (levens) lied.
De Volkskrant en Het Parool bekroonden hem al met de titel 'volkszanger'.
In 2025, het jaar het jaar waarin Amsterdam 750 jaar bestaat, brengt Kabier een medley uit van zijn favoriete liedjes over de stad.
Samen met Raadtje voegt hij hier een vleugje, soul, gospel en dancehall aan toe.
De titel van deze medley is " Van Bijlmer Tot Jordaan Medley ".
Doordat hij het publiek elke keer weet te raken met zijn stem en omdat hij graag de nummers van Andre Hazes vertolkt, leverde hem dit de bijnaam De Hindoestaanse Hazes op.
Hij was ook te zien en te horen in diverse radio- en tv-programma's, waar hij zowel levensliederen vertolkte als zijn eigen singles ten gehore bracht.
Onder het motto:
'Het is geen feest als Kabier niet is geweest' maakt hij van elk evenement een onvergetelijk feest'.

I got to know Kabier musically as editor-in-chief of the television program De Nieuwe Maan (NTR). Every week an artist played there, live. and Kabier was also a guest with us. Some guests need a lot of accompaniment and are very nervous. Kabier came, started singing beautifully and he went. A Hazes song: I 'live my life the way I want' with only piano accompaniment. Very subdued, even a little jazzy. Absolutely on the same level as Andre Hazes. But totally not a cover, a completely own version. 1 of the best performances in my time with the program. He prefers to sing in Dutch, I understand, but he sounds great in English too. Recently I saw him at a small performance doing a version of Lady Gaga . 'I will never love again, He has a lot of range and a lot of dynamics. (via E-mail)

As a great Hazes sr fan, I can state that Kabier can perform these songs in a great way, I have not heard or seen any other artist who can interpret Hazes' legacy in such a wonderful way. The other songs Kabier sings also come straight from his heart and are beautifully sung. In addition, he is an extremely likable man with genuine concern for his audience. As an Amsterdam city photographer some 17 years ago, while working at a luxurious dinner, I came across Kabier who was there providing the musical accompaniment that memorable evening. I was immediately struck by his beautiful voice and the manner of his rendition of the Amsterdam life song. Since that evening I have enjoyed his performances on small and large stages throughout the city many times. In the process we have also become very good friends because not only as a singer but also as a person Kabier is an engaging, valuable and accessible artist. (via E-mail)
