Alex and the Rhythms: een driekoppige band bestaande uit Alex Gabeler (gitaar en zang), Bryan Hahury (cajon) en Tijn Nieuwstad (basgitaar). Ontstaan als een vriendengroep in een muziekcafé in hartje Breda, hebben ze de stap gezet om verder te gaan met hun muziek.
"We willen graag mensen blij maken met onze muziek. Voor ons is de avond compleet als het publiek enthousiast meezingt met de nummers van toen. We brengen een avond vol country en rock-'n-roll. Muziek van Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry en Elvis Presley komt zeker voorbij, maar ook de 'klassieke meezingers' van o.a. The Beatles, CCR of Guus Meeuwis zijn ons niet vreemd."
Wat we bieden:
1 uur tot maximaal 2 uur aan muziek variërend van rock-'n-roll en country tot
aan meezingers uit de jaren '60 tot '80. Specifieke wensen? Wij denken graag met u mee!
Podiumvereisten:
1. Podiumvereisten
• Afmetingen: Minimaal 4x4 meter.
• Oppervlak: Stabiel, vlak en waterdicht.
• Toegang: Vrij van obstakels en gemakkelijk bereikbaar voor laden en lossen.
2. Stroomvoorziening
• Minimaal 2 stopcontacten (230V) met aardlekbeveiliging (16A).
3. Geluidsapparatuur
Optie 1: Organisator verzorgt geluid
De organisator dient een passend PA-systeem te verzorgen, geschikt voor de ruimte (café of zaal):
• PA-systeem: Geschikt voor 100 man
• Monitoren: Minimaal 2, bij voorkeur met aparte mixmogelijkheden.
• Mengpaneel: Minimaal 2 XLR-ingangen.
• Microfoons en DI-boxen:
o 1 zangmicrofoon (Shure SM58 of vergelijkbaar).
o 1 microfoon voor de cajon.
o 1 DI-box/speakers voor de semi-akoestische gitaar.
Optie 2: Wij verzorgen geluid
• Wij brengen een volledig geluidsysteem mee, geschikt voor een café of zaal.
• Minimaal 1 uur voor aanvang aanwezig voor opbouw en soundcheck.
• Vereisten bij de locatie:
o Laad- en losruimte dichtbij het podium.
o Vrije toegang tot het podium voor apparatuur.
4. Soundcheck
• Minimaal 30 minuten nodig voor soundcheck, direct na opbouw van het geluidssysteem

I had booked Alex & the Rhythms for my birthday which we celebrated. From booking to the party had good and clear contact. Alex was on time! This was very nice. We could have a chat and I think this gave both parties a lot of peace. Alex certainly thinks along with us before and during the party. In short, Alex is really a fantastic singer and you can also absolutely great guitar and harmonica play. Unfortunately, you had to perform for a small audience because many people were unable to attend. I can not wait until the next party where Alex and his band absolutely must be present. We have come to love you guys from the far north. If I could give you 10 stars you would get it immediately. But you guys are definitely golden. Hope to see you soon. Lots of love from all of us
